Digitizing Info – Embroidery 101/Part 1

Everyone wants to look good, and your logo says it all. Embroidery is a tried and true method for decorating apparel, and it continues to be as popular as ever. Digitizing is the process of taking a graphic file and preparing it for embroidery. An embroidery machine can only read a sew file, and that’s what digitizing is for.

Proper digitizing results in beautiful embroidery. An essential part of our business is logo digitizing, and we make sure your logo embroiders perfectly before we proceed with embroidering your apparel.

Once you send us a graphic file (jpg, .ai, PDF, .eps, PNG) we can decide together what thread colours you want on dark/light apparel, and what size files you want digitized. Each embroidery location requires a different file, so most of the time our customers opt for: left chest, ballcap, jacket back logo or text, and a saddle pad. This gives you everything you need to embroider all kinds of products. The more products you can embroider, the better!
